Our Extended Back to School Return Policy

To help you shop with confidence during the back-to-school season, we have extended our standard return window.

  • Eligibility: Any item purchased online or in-store between August 11 and September 11 qualifies for our extended return policy.
  • Return Deadline: You have until September 25 to initiate a return or exchange.
  • Condition: Items must be in their original condition: unopened, unused, unaltered, and with all original tags attached.
  • Refund Method: Returns with an original receipt or order confirmation will be refunded to the original form of payment. Returns with a gift receipt will receive store credit.
  • Exclusions: There are no refunds or exchanges on any items marked Final Sale or on Special Orders, Gift Cards, Access Codes (including eBooks and etextbooks), or Used Textbooks. This also includes Texts and other books from which the shrink wrap has been removed. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

Our Standard Return Policy

Merchandise purchased in person (including textbooks) may be exchanged or returned for a full refund within fourteen (14) days of purchase, provided that the product is accompanied by the original cash register receipt and is in complete, unused and unmarked condition, and is in the original (unopened) packaging. There are no refunds or exchanges on Final Sale, Special Orders, Custom Hoodies and other Customized products, Gift Cards, Access Codes (including ebooks and etextbooks), or Used Textbooks. This includes Text and other books from which the shrink wrap has been removed.

Defective merchandise will be exchanged for the same product only within fourteen (14) days of purchase with the original cash register receipt.

Items purchased online or at the Woodroffe campus must be returned to Connections: The Campus Store in Ottawa.

Items purchased at Pembroke campus must be returned to the Pembroke mailroom for a refund. The above conditions apply for all returns.

Products purchased online via the thecampusstore.ca website are subject to the same terms and exclusions as stated for In Store Returns.

Customers who would like to return product ordered online may send or deliver in person the product in unused and unmarked condition, and in its original (unopened) packaging to Connections: The Campus Store within fourteen (14) days of date printed on the cash register receipt to qualify for a refund.

If returning an item ordered online, please email Connections: The Campus Store with the reason(s) for the return.

  1. Please note the costs for Return shipping are at your expense. The Campus Store is not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Please use a traceable, insured method of shipping when returning your item(s).
  2. Hold on to your tracking information and shipping receipt until you get your refund.

Once we receive the product(s) you will be promptly credited by the same method of payment used for the original purchase.

Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.
